Repurposing illustrations

I have a few clients who come back to me regularly(ish) for illustration and design work. I was excited yesterday to get a mail from one of them, asking if I had time right away to do some work on a short deadline for a corporate video animation.

When we were discussing the details of the project and what they wanted from me, I realised that I had done almost exactly what they needed about 18 months ago for a different project for them. We took a look and they agreed it was a good fit.

So I was able to repurpose the old illustrations with some small adjustments for this new video in under an hour! I saved the client a ton of money and deadline stress, and myself a lot of hours at the drawing table.

Never delete your project files, folks.
