30 Days of Progress

Dear Complete-It Club members,

The crisp air of autumn is still months away here in Japan, but it’s rice harvesting season and there are pumpkins at the farmer’s markets. I’ve seen Halloween decorations at Daiso. So let’s harness this seasonal shift to breathe fresh life into our projects. I’m excited to announce our September theme: 30 Days of Progress.

You don’t need to finish an entire project this month. Instead, set a specific, achievable goal that represents meaningful progress on one of the large priority projects you’ve been wanting to complete. Whether it’s writing the first chapter of your novel, organizing your workspace, or learning a new skill for your craft project, every step forward is a victory.

To keep the momentum going, we’ll have weekly check-in posts on the Facebook group, where you can share your progress, challenges, and victories. Your updates will inspire others and create a supportive community atmosphere.

Remember, progress isn’t always linear – some weeks might bring big leaps, others small steps. It’s all part of the journey.

I put together one of my favorite tools, a calendar tracker, to help me see my progress. I’m going to use stickers to mark the days I made progress. This sort of visual reminder helps me stay motivated and if it works for you, please grab the image and print it out for yourself.

As you set your goal, consider the prioritised list you made last month.

  • What’s one aspect of your top project you can realistically tackle in 30 days?
  • How will completing this goal move your overall project forward?
  • What support or resources might you need along the way?

Let’s make this September a month of growth, creativity, and accomplishment. Your dedication and progress, no matter how small, are worth celebrating. I can’t wait to see what you achieve!
