Today, Tilly Good Car’s odometer rolled over to 100,000 km. Tod planned a route to the grocery store that would get us to a picturesque spot on Tilly’s favorite road, the Lindo along the ridge, so we could stop and take some photos.
Tilly is 22 years old and has been all over Japan with us. She loves adventures and is excellent at waiting in one place when we leave her. She rattles and squeaks to announce her presence on the road. To celebrate her 100,000 km anniversary, she’ll get her tires rotated and oil changed this weekend. And a much-needed bath.
The odometer goes up to 999,999. I wonder if we can keep her going to a mllion km?
