Free Art

I might not be going anywhere, but I can still do things. From yesterday ’til today, I’ve drawn 18 little artworks on slabs of wood, drilled them, strung them with twine, and hung them on a tree in the yard that overhangs the road so people can stay far away, but still get a freebie.

I’m not sure who my audience is: the construction workers who are fixing the road nearby; a neighbor walking a dog; someone in one of the many cars that turns around when they miss the road to Oyama Senmaida? More than likely, these little arty ornaments will decorate the tree for a long time before anyone notices them. 🙂

But they kept me occupied for a couple of hours and that’s enough to make me happy.
