Jeannie McQuillin married Tim Enright today. I have a second father-in-law and a whole new set of relatives.

Tod walked his mother down the aisle and later danced with her at the reception. It was a joyful evening for everyone – with lots of food and drink, a DJ who played a wide range of requests, and many fascinators clipped into plain and fancy hairdos.
In the days leading up to the wedding we all folded hundreds of origami cranes for table settings. Tod & I organised red, orange, and gold obi, auspicious paper art, and Japanese lanterns for decor.
Almost all the relatives were able to attend. I’m sure it’s been many, many years since we’ve all been together and I know Jeannie was eager to throw a big bash to celebrate with everyone. It was good to see Tod’s cousins and uncles again and to meet the new spouses and children of the clan as well as Tim’s family.

Three cheers and wishes for a long and happy marriage for the Enrights!
